Grzegorz Kita is a founder and CEO of Sport Management Polska. He is a specialist and an expert in sports marketing and consulting.

Grzegorz Kita is a recognized authority within sports management and sports clubs management areas. Moreover he is a forerunner and pioneer in sports marketing and consulting market development.

He is often quoted in media and asked for experts opinion concerning sports marketing [more].

During his career Grzegorz Kita has realized more than 150 sports marketing projects. He became famous for creating the promotion strategy for Polish Swimming Association within 2005-2008 and for huge football transactions.
He has realized a lot of consulting projects. He has worked with companies like Allianz, Bioton, Telefonia Dialog, McDonald’s, Energa, Campus, Michelin, Coca Cola, Tauron, Manufaktura Centre, PKE and many more.
He also conducts extensive research activities. He is the author of many conceptions and issues connected with sport business.
As part of his scientific work he has created and taught his pioneer subject “Sport clubs product management”. He is also a lecturer at universities.
He is a highly regarded speaker at many congresses and seminars devoted to sports marketing and consulting. As a prelegant Grzegorz Kita is often invited to conferences organized by the biggest polish training institutions: Institute for International Research or Informedia Polska.  

Before the foundation of SMP, Grzegorz Kita has worked as a General Director in Legia Warszawa Football Club (2003-2004) and Board Vicepresident in Polonia Warszawa Football Club (2004).

While working in Legia Warszawa he was an architect of clubs ownership changes and transaction with ITI concern – one of the biggest concern in western Europe.

In 2000-2002 he was a main strategist of industrial company Mostostal-Export S.A.
He was responsible for strategic policy, corporate governance of subsidiaries and investor relations.
The company Mostostal-Export at that time consisted of more than 30 subsidiaries and consolidated annual revenues that exceeded the value of 1.3 billion zlotys.

In 1993-1999 he was a professional stock market investor. He was involved in financial investments in the capital markets and venture capital projects. He was also the Chief Editor of the specialized scientific magazine "Playing the Stock Exchange”.
In 1994-1998 he published over 30 economic and financial analysisof various listed companies (Parquet, Cash, Financial Newspaper, Rzeczpospolita, New Europe). He analyzed companies like BRE, Polifarb Cieszyn, Vistula, Rolimpex, Efekt, Wedel, Elektrim, Amerbank, CSS.


He founded his first company in 1990, when he was 18 years old.


Grzegorz Kita has extensive interests. He is interested in literature, travel, modern technology and history.

Sport is also his passion in his free time. He plays soccer, tennis, basketball, volleyball, squash, he likes swimming and diving. He also has practiced a number of martial arts - from judo and aikido through karate, kung-fu to the capoeira. A special passion is downhill skiing reinforced with mountains fascination.


SMP is the author of Polish Swimming promotional success. In years 2005-2008, the company was the sole representative of Polish Swimming Association in marketing actions. During this time SMP has also created two major sponsorship programs for Bioton SA and Telefonia Dialog SA.
On behalf of the Tauron Group, SMP in cooperation with research institute ARC Market and Opinion has developed a unique research methodology. It was realized at the worlds standard level and it was used for the selection, planning, analyzing and reporting the effectiveness of sponsorship activities.
